With fans desperate to get their hands on anything Halo related, Microsoft have issued a statement warning gamers to be aware of a fake email doing the rounds, supposedly offering you the chance to play the Halo 4 beta.

Microsoft have stated that they have no plans to release a Beta of Halo 4 any time soon.

While we are sure that everyone here at GamerDads is pretty wise to emails from the 'Bank of Uganda' or any email requesting personal information regarding your Live account. We ask that you remain vigilant to anything that might appear in your inbox and appear too good to be true.

The only thing that is certain... If you love Halo. You will just have to wait.
