We may not see a full reveal of the two consoles, perhaps just an announcement, but any news is good news, right?

Rumours of a new Xbox have been circulating for a while now, Sony announcing the ps4 will be more of a surprise as they don't want to caught out again by releasing the the Playstation after its Microsoft rival.

Developers themselves are looking anxiously to the future of the new hardware, In a recent interview with Evan Wells from Naughty Dog he said: “The geek inside you is always excited about a shiny new toy, but then the practicality of it starts to set in: this is going to be a lot of hard work. When you’re going to new technology, every day is a slog, progress is slow and it really takes a different kind of attitude and mentality to get through that kind of push and it’s not right for everybody” 

With 2012 looking like such a strong year for Games on both of the current consoles, it will be interesting to see what happens as we edge close to the Next-Next Generation of Gaming.
