the killstreak factor is a really good point. sticking with very low killstreaks has a pretty big impact on how the games develop. against HoPE last month i think we all had UAV and counter UAV equipped so at almost every point of each game we knew where they were while remaining invisible on the mini map. throw in a few predators aswell and its a pretty powerful but simple setup.
regarding mic chat, it definately does help in a match but i can totally relate to feeling a little shy lol. i remember when i first got my mic equipped headset and almost felt a bit scared to switch it on

. however, having used the mic for a year or two now i usuallly have the opposite problem. i have to focus on not being TO vocal
