Who is the most difficult game boss you have ever encountered?

Desaan, the final boss on Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. I tried for 4 hours straight on that git and got precisely nowhere.

Then I got mad and godmoded the prick into oblivion - the only time I can think of that I've out and out cheated to finish a game.

The boss fight that took me the longest was definitely Emerald Weapon from FF7 - must have taken me about 2-3 hours for that one fight alone. Cracked it though so that was okay.

Colonel Radec from the end of Killzone 2. Man I hated that fight! I only stuck with it to see the ending. But unless you want a challenge, I'd recommend playing it on Easy.

In Deus-Ex, I am currently stuck trying to kill what I think TheGodOfSarcasm calls "the flying bitch", who caused him to restart the game. I've had 4 or 5 goes so far but haven't yet resorted to YouTube, but that will be my next plan. I might then have to roll back a bit and spend my praxis differently to beat her. :-/

Using only the knife the trick is to stand on the balcony in a corner as he only teleports back and forth to your left and right hand side and just keep knifing him even when he teleports as you still do damage when he`s invisible and he probably wont inflict any damage on you at all.

Never beaten any either the Ruby and emerald weapon as I`ve never been able to get the final attack materia from the gold saucer and I`ve grinded those chocobo races to try. Another one that stands out is the Green Eye from Lost Planet first time I played at the time I thought it was impossible and took me ages to beat him but once you work out a stratagey he ain`t so tough.

"invisible ninjas c**t" was they exact way I described but yeah, HER. The end boss on Ninja Gaiden Black is nnightmare, completely agree. As is the end boss on Ninja.Gaiden.2. Almost anyone you encounter on Demon Souls could suffice. That being said though, I much prefer a proper boss battle no matter how frustrating to all the slo-mo QTE's that games end with nowadays. You should be panting while watching the credits, not thinking."did I really just pull a 2 foot combat knife out of my own chest and thrown it 25 ft into.a man's eye?"

I HATE having to replay sections of a game. It's the one thing that will stop me from completing it. I don't want to be challenged, I just want to progress through a game and enjoying the experience and the eye candy, so Boss levels are not my thing at all. In BFBC2 I got stuck trying to take out the helo with the RPGs - it took months to get past it because I'd have a couple of attempts and rage quit. Life is too short.
